Run Antivirus or Anti-Malware Scan

  • At last, in the Virtual memory window shown below, then uncheck the “Automatically manage paging file size for all drive” option. Then highlight your system drive under Paging file size for each and every type heading and for the Custom size option, set the suitable values for fields: Initial size (MB) and Maximum size (MB).   • Now if you’ve increased the size, then a reboot is not mandatory. However, if you’ve decreased the size of the paging file, then you must have to reboot to make changes effective.

  • Just download and install CCleaner.
  • Double-tap on the setup.exe to start the installation.
  • Tap on the Install button to start the installation of CCleaner. Follow on-screen instructions in order to complete the installation.
  • Open the application and from the left-hand side menu, choose Custom.
  • Now see if you have to checkmark anything other than the default settings. When done, click on Analyze.
  • When the analysis is complete, tap on the “Run CCleaner” button.
  • Now let CCleaner run its course and this will clear all cache and cookies on your system.
  • Then, to clean your system further, choose the Registry tab, and ensure the following are checked.
  • When done, then tap on the “Scan for Issues” button and permit CCleaner to scan.

  • When CCleaner asks “Do you want backup changes to the registry?” just choose Yes.
