Follow the steps below to enable Chrome mobile bookmarks:

Step 1:

At first, sign in to Chrome on your desktop. Tap the setting icon, move to Settings, and then sign in with a Google or Google Apps account.

Step 2:

On Chrome mobile, you must sign in with the Google account or Google Apps that used to sign-in on the desktop. Enable the Sync, and remember ‘Bookmarks’ are set to sync. Selecting to sync anything else is fully up to you and you can ignore the rest if you think it will mess up with your desktop installation.

Step 3:

Come back to your desktop. It depends on how many bookmarks you have, it’ll take a few seconds to appear on the desktop. Head over to the Chrome Bookmarks manager (Ctrl+Shift+O) and you will then view a new folder named ‘Mobile bookmarks’. All your bookmarks from your mobile phone and/or iPhone will be categorized inside this folder. This folder can’t appear on the bookmarks bar so if you need to access these bookmarks, then you can do so from the bookmarks manager.

However, you can move bookmarks in the ‘Mobile bookmarks’ folder to any folder. But the Mobile bookmarks’ folder itself can’t be moved. This is a restriction of Chrome itself as it wants to find the Mobile bookmarks folder in a certain place to sync bookmarks.
