There are three options from when you 1st open up Pixlr you can select b/w the Pixlr express, Pixlr editor, and Pixlr O-Matic. However, you have a free account, so you like the Pixlr Editor. WAND is quite similar to a marquee tool, but you just hit on the elements you like to choose.

PAINT BUCKET (G)

This is quite similar to the sharpen tool besides adding a filter. Also, it modifies the contrast picture. However, it only alters the contrast of the part the brush is touching.
This also deals with the contrast in an image, but it darkens instead of lightens.
RED EYE REDUCTION (NO SHORTCUT KEY)
We applied this tool just once. The too replaces red parts of an eye using dark grays. Also, a bit of close-up cloning, and you can certainly erase red-eye in a satisfactory way.
SPOT HEAL (NO SHORTCUT KEY)
Tap on an area that you like to be blemished. Also, it does a snapshot clone where everything around the blemish is cloned over the point you are tapping.
Twisting an area as if you were searching at it through a convex lens.
This tool is quite opposite to the bloat tool. However, It pinches things in as if you were viewing that part of a photo using a concave lens.
Select a color from your own picture that you may use as your drawing line color, or it might be your paint bucket color.
Add in text. Select its font, its color, and then move it around and then resize it. Also, use the move tool to shift it around once done.
There are times when you want to grab the canvas. For example, you may be zoomed in and want to move things up a bit. Simply use the hand shortcut, grab the canvas then pull it in the direction you like it to move.

SET MAIN COLOR (NO SHORTCUT KEY)
This tool brings up a big palette where you can select colors. However, you may then apply these colors to your text, shapes, paint bucket, drawn lines, etc.
Pixlr lacks the essential tools that many paid programs have. However, Pixlr has all the necessary tools required for image editing. A professional person can work their images and photos to great effect if they have an eye for detail, color, setting and shot direction
