Solution 1 – Via Internet Properties

  • Press Windows + R and input inetcpl.cpl in the Run dialog box, to open Internet Properties.
  • Then, in the Internet Properties window, move to the Security tab. Then tap on the Custom level button there.
  • Move to Security Settings – Internet Zone window dive down and view for Launching applications and unsafe files setting. The setting is set to Disable and this is the major cause behind the problem issue. Specify it to the Prompt (recommended) option and tap OKApplyOK.
  • At last, reboot your PC and after the restart, you can then open the file without any warning message.
