If you’ve been on Snapchat and you know how difficult it is actually to get a streak going, not to mention maintaining it each and every day. However, we keep on trying, don’t we? As nothing is worth it without even a little struggle. In this article, we are going to talk about the List of Snapchat Streak – How to Make it. Let’s begin!

Well, we are here to make that struggle a little easier actually. Did you guys know that you can create a list on Snapchat in order to make it easier to send streaks to all your friends? Read on now to learn how!

What is Streaks on Snapchat | Snapchat Streak

Snapstreaks are Snapchat’s way in order to make sure that you do not forget your friends (we hope). Snapstreaks basically occurs when two people send each other snaps for almost three days consecutively. It is denoted via an emoji accompanied through a number. The number represents the number of days that you guys have the streak going for.

If you do not send a snap to the other person within 24 hours, then you will lose the streak and will also have to start over from scratch. The longer you guys keep sending each other snaps, the higher your Snapstreak will get as well.

Snapstreaks need work though. Both users must send a snap within 24 hours in order to maintain the streak. And to make it tougher, Snapchat does not really count messages and group snaps as part of your streaks. So you will have to send individual snaps to the person as well.

List of Snapchat Streak – How to Make it

As mentioned above, just simply sending a snap to a group chat will not count toward individual streaks actually. So the next best thing to do is basically create a list of your friends with whom you guys would like to keep a Snapstreak going. Whenever you go to send out a snap, Snapchat then automatically sorts your Friends list alphabetically. However, you don’t select your streaks via alphabet do you (we hope not)?

The first thing you have to do is access your Friends list and also identify the users with whom you would like to keep a streak going. In order to do that open the Snapchat app, click on your avatar in the top left corner, and choose ‘My Friends’. Scroll via your list and decide that friends you guys want to keep snapping. If you already have a streak along with someone, you can also identify them through the ? next to their names.

Now you have to rename these contacts. Don’t need to worry, this will not really change their contact name on your phone. In order to change a user’s name, click and hold on the contact, choose More > Edit name. You do not have to change the name completely, just add a symbol before it as well. This could be anything, a dot, #, $, or also even an emoji! Adding a symbol to the user’s name will also send it to the bottom of the alphabetical list. Note: You guys must set the same symbol for all the folks that you would like to maintain a Snapstreak with as well.

Why can’t I just send a snap to my Snapchat Best friends? | Snapchat Streak

Yes, Best friends on Snapchat actually appear at the top of your list. However, Snapchat only lets you have more than eight Best friends on the app. If you only intend on having eight Snapstreaks going, then you guys can simply use the Best friend feature. Any more than eight and you guys will have to scroll via your Friends list to find them.

Why not use an alphabet in front of the user’s name?

A number of folks do use this technique because it also brings your list to the top instead of the bottom. This way you guys don’t have to scroll to the bottom each and every time you have to send out a snap. But, Snapchat also keeps your recently added users at the top of the list. This would also interfere with your snapping list, and then make it more complicated in order to separate them out.

Does sending a snap to a group count toward your Snapstreak or not

Unfortunately, the only way to keep a Snapstreak going is actually to send personal snaps to the user. Sending snaps to groups within Snapchat does not really count toward your Snapstreak.

Is there a ‘Select all’ option in order to send out snaps? | Snapchat Streak

An older version of Snapchat did in fact have a ‘Select all’ button whenever sending out snaps. But, that was long discontinued, and none of the newer versions now have it as well. So in order to send out Snaps, you guys must individually tap on each and every person’s name.

What about third-party apps?

There are a few third-party apps that also claim they can group your contacts together. In order to help you send out snaps quicker. But, in addition to having to share your login information, through the third-party apps is a sure-fire way in order to get your account banned. When your account is banned you will lose all of your Snapstreaks, so it is not worth taking the risk actually.
