Reset Original and 2nd-Generation ‌AirPods‌

Follow the steps carefully to reset original and second-generation AirPods:

Step 1:

Make sure that both ‌AirPods‌ are in their charging case also both the earbuds and their cases have a charge.

Step 2:

Now add the small button at the case back, near the bottom. It’s a blush with the case and the same color as it, so you probably want to feel about it.

Step 3:

Head over to the charging case lid.

Step 4:

Hit and hold the button at the case back for a minimum of 15 seconds. The case’s internal light b/w the ‌AirPods‌ will flash white and then change into amber. It indicates that the ‌AirPods‌ have reset. (After having a Wireless Charging Case, this light is on the front of the case.)

How to Reset AirPods Pro

Follow the steps carefully to reset AirPods Pro:

Step 1:

Initially, put them ‌AirPods‌ in their case and then close the lid.

Step 2:

Now wait for 30 seconds, then open the lid.

Step 3:

On your iOS device, head over to Settings -> Bluetooth and click the circled “i” icon located next to your ‌AirPods‌.

Step 4:

Click Forget This Device and click again to confirm.

Step 5:

After the ‌lid of AirPods‌ case open, hit and hold the button on the case back for about 15 seconds until you view the status light flashing amber.

Step 6:

When the lid of the case open, simply put your ‌AirPods‌ close to your device and then follow the steps on your device’s screen to reconnect your ‌AirPods‌.

And all done!

Make sure that the ‌AirPods‌ are reset they will no longer automatically recognize any of the devices connected to your iCloud account. Simply open the ‌AirPods‌ case located near to an iOS device will start the setup process, the same as the first time when you used them.
