Google Pixel 4 Announcement Date May Have Just Leaked

Google Pixel 4 has already been leaked three times recently. But the latter is perhaps the most important. Because it seems to reveal a very important detail: the date of the next Google hardware event.

The introduction could take place in mid-October

Published by tipster Evan Blass, which has a fairly strong track record regarding smartphone leaks. An official-looking print rendering offers a clear view of the Google Pixel 4 front panel. The image in question confirms all that is it was previously reported. As the largest upper frame housing a variety of sensors, the extraordinarily thin chin, and the thin side bezels.

Today’s rendering also shows what appears to be one of Google’s official Pixel 4 backgrounds along with a mysterious date: October 15th. There is no guarantee that this particular date will mean anything other than the print renderings of previous-generation models that generally show the date of Google’s annual hardware event.

During the first two years, Google held its events on October 4th. But last year the announcements were slightly delayed until October 9th. This year nothing has been said about the current filing date. But on Tuesday, October 15 it certainly looks like a good candidate for a hardware event.

In this case, the anticipated orders will probably start immediately after the announcements. And it follows a launch on Friday 25 October. The prices that Google is planning for the Pixel 4 series have not yet been revealed. But recent rumors suggest that the Internet giant will do so. Significantly undermines the tastes of the iPhone 11 Pro and Galaxy Note 10+ by offering Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL for $799 and $899 respectively.

What will Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL bring to the table?

According to reports, the Pixel 4 standard will come equipped with a 5.7-inch OLED display. It supports a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2280 x 1080p. Pixel 4 XL, on the other hand, will adopt a larger 6.2-inch panel that will offer a resolution greater than 2960 x 1440p.

The next Google smartphone will be Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 with 6 GB of serial RAM. Although an 8 GB version may also be in progress. But Google can create more expensive variants with larger quantities. In any case, there is no expansion of the microSD card.

As expected from a flagship of the Pixel brand, the stock of Android 10 will be present directly from the first moment. It offers support for a navigation interface based on gestures combined with Native Dark mode, contextual intelligent response and suggested actions for notifications, advanced location sharing controls and seamless background updates. Moreover, while we are talking about the software topic, it is worth noting that Google’s Pixel 4 series will support a variety of “Motion Sense” gestures possible thanks to the Project Soli radar which is located inside the upper frame.

The Pixel 4 package will complete a new dual-camera setup on the back. It includes a 12-megapixel main camera and a 16-megapixel telephoto lens. It combines optical zoom with Super Res Zoom software to achieve an 8x zoom. According to the reports, the new camera settings will support an improved Night Vision mode. It works considerably faster than the current implementation. And is able to capture clear photos of the sky and stars in the middle of the night.

A final feature will include a new wide-angle selfie camera. The latter tries to replace the settings of the selfies with the dual Pixel 3 camera by taking standard wide-angle photos. And recreating regular shots combining the crop with the Super Res Zoom software.
