Add A Contact In WhatsApp
WhatsApp messenger requires access to your telephone contacts. If you allow the app to access this information, it will be much easier to send messages to any of your contacts, however, you can still use it without giving access to your contacts. You can add a contact directly in WhatsApp. The method is the same on the iPhone and Android phone, however, the app interface is a bit different, so we have detailed the process for both separately.

On iPhone – WhatsApp Messenger Contact
Open WhatsApp and tap the new chat button in the upper right corner. You will need to select a recipient for your chat message and the New Chat screen will basically open to your contacts. At the top, there is an option to add a new contact. Tap it
To add a contact, you really only need a phone number. If you know for sure that a person uses WhatsApp, make sure you have the correct number connected to your WhatsApp account. Enter the numeric field and give the contact a name by which they will recognize you (suggestion: use their real name). When finished, tap Save.
If the number entered is not linked to a WhatsApp account, you will see the “Invite WhatsApp” option on the Contact Details page.
On Android – WhatsApp Messenger Contact
Open WhatsApp and tap the new mobile chat button in the lower right corner. You are now on the Select Contact screen, where you can select a recipient for your messages. At the top, there is an option “New Contact”. Tap it
Enter a name and phone number for the person you want to send a message via WhatsApp. On Android, you can also choose where to save the contact. If you save it on the device, it is now available to the device contacts. If you choose to save it in the app, it will not be added to the device contacts. After entering the number, tap Save. If the number is not on WhatsApp account, you will see an option to invite the user.
On iOS and Android, you can add more information for contact on WhatsApp. This may include, among other things, a particular address, a second telephone number, and your e-mail address. In general, if the person you added also uses WhatsApp. Your profile image will be synchronized with the contact list. However, you can change it on your device for something else. The user will not know that he has changed it and the change will not be synchronized with his device.
