Turn Off Apps and Feature Restrictions on iPad

Apple also permits you to limit what apps and features your linked devices have access to. If you guys previously had set restrictions for the use of built-in apps or features on an iPhone, here’s how you can disable them. Tuning on access to these apps and features won’t need you to install them back. Or also update them to the latest version since Apple only temporarily hid the features from the restricted iPhone/iPad whenever you disabled them before.

  • In order to get to these restrictions screen open the Settings app and head to Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions.

Limit Adult Websites: You can use this setting to permit your devices access to all websites except for the ones that show adult content. You can also add websites under ‘Always Allow’ in order to approve them and ‘Never Allow’ to restrict them.

Allows Websites Only: If you guys want to allow access to more websites rather than all. You can select this option and then also add websites under ‘Always Allow’ to approve them and ‘Never Allow’ in order to restrict them.

Turn Off Siri Restrictions

Apple lets you avoid using Siri to access web content or showing explicit language whenever suggesting results. If you had previously put restrictions on Siri on your Apple devices as well. You can lift them off via going to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions.

On this screen, just click on the ‘Content Restrictions’ option.

Web Search Content: You can control Siri if or not it can get you results after searching the web. For this, head to the ‘Siri’ section and click on the ‘Web Search Content’ option. Select ‘Allow’ on the next screen and come back to the previous screen.

Explicit Language: You can also select if Siri uses Explicit Language in order to give you results for something you asked. Under Siri, choose ‘Explicit Language’ and select to allow.

Turn Off Privacy Restrictions

iOS let you modify access to some privacy settings that some apps may also access or request. Turn Off Game Center Restrictions on iPad

  • If you somehow enabled restrictions inside Game Center for your child’s iPhone or your secondary device, then you can disable them via following the steps below.
  • First, open the Settings app and head to Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions.
  • Here, click on the ‘Content Restrictions’ option.

Turn Off Restrictions for App Tracking

Apple lets you deny app tracking requests automatically via default when they’re installed. You can, however, provide these apps the ability to send you requests so that they can track your activity across many other apps and websites.

  • If you still want to permit this feature, open the Settings app and head to ‘Privacy’.

Turn Off Notification Restrictions on iPad
