Do you know how to charge AirPods? The latest Apple AirPods come fully charged from the box. Also, it offers a total of five hours of listening time and two hours of talk time (or in AirPods‌ 2 case, a total of three hours of talk time) before you again charge them.

There are many ways that you can manually check ‌AirPods‌ battery level. But the general, sign is that you’ll hear a tone when your ‌AirPods‌’ batteries are getting low, and another tone when they run out.

Charging Your ‌AirPods‌ for the First Time

If you want to charge your ‌AirPods‌, just put them in their case. A completely charged case will provide you ‌more time to listening to songs. Not just this but also it provides 11 hours of talk time. Once you charge ‌AirPods‌ for 10 to 15 minutes in their case. Then you get around 3 hours of listening time or also an hour of talk time.

When ‌AirPods‌ are erased from their case, then the light displays the charge status of the case. Well, there are two lights indicators. The first is Green that shows fully charged. The other is amber indicates less than one full charge remains.

If you want to charge a non-wireless ‌AirPods‌ case. Simply connect the Lightning cable that came in the box into the Lightning connector under the case. Then connect the other end of the cable into a USB charger or PC port. However, the case will charge whether or not the ‌AirPods‌ have been connected.

Apples’ 2nd-generation ‌AirPods or Wireless Charging Case ‌both can be charged with any Qi-supporting charging mat or stand. But in case, if you don’t have any charging accessory and are searching which one to purchase then buy the best one.

Step 1:

Put the case on the charger using the status light on the front of the case facing up. Make sure that you can charge your case without or with your ‌AirPods‌ inside.

Step 3:

If the light doesn’t enable or when you put it on the charging mat, simply try repositioning the case.

If you are facing issues getting the case to charge. Then look at the cable that it is firmly connected into the charging mat and that the other end is perfectly plugged into a power outlet. However, if the case still isn’t charging, then make sure that you can also charge it by connecting the supplied Lightning cable into the Lightning connector under it. Or else, the end of the cable into a USB charger or port.

However, ‌AirPods‌ have the best battery life for their size. Also, their charging capacity will naturally debase over time. Once your ‌AirPods‌ are still under warranty and have limited battery life because of normal wear. Then Apple offers a $49 per AirPod battery replacement service. As it’s not in warranty battery replacement service that costs $69 per earbud or charging case.

By default, if your battery is defective and it’s covered by Apple’s warranty or consumer law. Then Apple will service it at no extra cost.
