How to Root Moto G 2014 Marshmallow Stock ROM

  1. Ensure your Moto G 2014 is running completely stock Marshmallow ROM.
  2. Download and transfer both SuperSU v2.62-3 and v2.67 from download links above to your Moto G 2014.
  3. Boot your Moto G 2015 into TWRP recovery and flash the SuperSU v2.62-3 file first.
  4. Reboot the device in the wake of flashing the SuperSU v2.62-3.
  5. Again boot once more into the TWRP recovery and now flash SuperSU v2.67.
  6. Reboot the device.

That is it. Your Moto G 2014 ought to be rooted now and boot up fine and dandy
